If you are purchasing a place of residence and it is your first home, you may be eligible for the Queensland First Home Owners Grant as it is a state government initiative to help first home owners to get their new first home sooner. Introduced on the 1st July, you must fulfill certain criteria to be eligible for this $15,000 or $20,000 grant. It is a great opportunity to buy or build a new home.
