Emergency Maintenance

Your safety and the protection of the property are our top priorities. Emergency maintenance refers to urgent issues that pose a risk to health, safety, or could result in significant damage if not addressed immediately. If you experience an emergency maintenance issue outside of business hours, please follow the instructions below.

What Qualifies as Emergency Maintenance?

Examples of emergency maintenance include:

  • Serious water leaks or burst pipes
  • No power or water supply (not caused by a local outage)
  • Sewage or toilet system blockage affecting all toilets
  • Flooding or storm damage
  • Fire or serious electrical faults
  • Broken or damaged locks resulting in security risks
  • Gas leaks

What to Do in an Emergency

If you are faced with an emergency situation:

  1. Try to minimise any damage (e.g. turn off water at the mains for leaks).
  2. Call emergency services immediately if there is any risk to personal safety (000).
  3. Contact our emergency tradespeople directly using the after-hours contact numbers provided in your tenancy agreement or below.

Important Notes

Please use discretion when determining if the issue is a true emergency. Non-urgent issues reported as emergencies may incur a call-out cost to the tenant if deemed unnecessary. If the issue can wait until the next business day, please report it via our standard maintenance request form or contact our office during opening hours.

If you're unsure whether your situation qualifies as an emergency, review your lease documents or contact our team for guidance. We are here to assist you with any concerns regarding your rental property.
